Dear participants

We kindly invite you to submit an abstract with your recent scientific data at our SASRO Annual Meeting until Monday 19.06.2023. The submission of the abstracts has been extended by one week. The new deadline is now Monday, 26.06.2023.
The abstract submission is handled by Ex Ordo. In order to submit an abstract, an Ex Ordo account must be created (please use the link provided below). After login with the Ex Ordo account, the abstract submission process can be started:

Only completely submitted abstracts will be evaluated by members of the scientific committees. The following criteria will be used to score the abstracts:

  • Clarity
  • Significance
  • Scientific rigor
  • Innovation and/or professional scientific impact
  • Interest to the community

Abstracts selected for oral presentation will contribute to proffered paper sessions and all the abstracts will be published in “Strahlentherapie und Onkologie“.
Abstracts selected for poster viewing will be displayed throughout the meeting in dedicated poster viewing areas.

 

Abstract Submission Information for Authors

Please carefully read the following abstract submission guidelines for the 27th SASRO Annual Meeting:

  • Abstract submission language is English only.
  • Maximum length per abstract is 350 words (abstract body).
  • Authors should select one of the following presentation formats:
    • Oral or Poster
    • Oral only
    • Poster only
    • Oral Young Investigator (first author = presenting author < 30 years or currently a PhD student)
  • Authors should select one of the following abstract types:
    • Clinical
    • Physics
    • Biology
    • Technician
  • Authors information:
    • Author names: first name(s) as initial(s) and last name(s) written out.
    • The presenting author must be specified.
    • Provided order of authors cannot be changed afterwards.
    • Author affiliations should follow the format: Department, Institution, City, Country.
    • If an author has more than one affiliation, this information should be provided.
    • If an author has no institutional affiliation, the author’s location (city and country) should be provided.
  • The abstract body should follow the structure:
    • Aims
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions
  • Do not use non-standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations must be placed in round brackets () after the first mention of the word for which it stands.
  • Tables and Figures are not supported.
  • Abstract can be modified until the submission deadline.
  • The abstract should not have been published or submitted elsewhere and all authors of the abstract should agree to the publication of the abstract as part of the SASRO abstracts (to be published in Strahlentherapie und Onkologie)
  • Abstracts on results not yet obtained will be rejected.
  • Only fully completed abstract submissions at the deadline will be considered in the review process.
