Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee of the Radiation Oncology Center of the Cantonal Hospitals of Aarau and Baden, I have the honor and privilege to cordially invite you to the 26th SASRO Annual Meeting, 1st-3rd September in the Trafohalle in Baden.
The theme of this year's SASRO is "Promoting the Next Generation" and therefore one focus is our younger colleagues. To reflect this, a joint SASRO-ESTRO symposium will be dedicated to the future education of all professions. In addition, we will offer an extra proffered papers session exclusively for colleagues in training. To facilitate exchange between younger colleagues and experienced mentors between hospitals, across language regions and for all professions, we will offer the first Networking Café. You will have the opportunity to register for the Networking Café during the general registration process where more details will be provided.
The "next generation" theme will run throughout the program, addressing next generation technology, automation, adaptive radiotherapy, imaging, radiobiology, oligometastases and clinical research. As a première, we will offer talks on medical informatics and a parallel session for study coordinators. Several sessions will be led by the RTT group.
We would like to encourage you, and especially the young colleagues in training, to reserve the dates and to prepare abstracts. The deadlines for abstract submission and registration will be announced soon.
