Following approval of the SASRO board and SASRO general asseembly, along with the approval from the ESTRO board and ESTRO President, we propose for all Swiss Radiation/Clinical-Oncologists, Radiation Physicists, RTTs, Biologists, Nurses and other Radiation Oncology related Professionals to enter into a joint SASRO-ESTRO membership.

ESTRO, will offer in the new type of membership with SASRO a combination of the benefits associated with 2 existing ESTRO memberships i.e. :

• A national joint membership which already exists between ESTRO and some radiation oncology societies outsite Europe (Japan or Canada …)
• An ESTRO institutional membership which already exists in Europe

However the combination of both a National and an Institutional membership does not exist currently within ESTRO and this new joint membership with SASRO is the very fisrt experience, launched as a pilot experience for 2 years that will be automatically renewed in Switzerland if successful, and likely expanded to other European countries.

Terms and Conditions of institutional joint membership:                     

• • Memberships are valid from 1 Jan. to 31 Dec.

  • Minimum 5 individuals per institution 

  • Full-Active joint membership: 80 € annual fee; Full-Active + Green Journal: 125 € annual fee

  • In-Training joint membership: 60 € annual fee; In-Training + Green Journal: 105 € annual fee 

  • Each centre would get a FREE Ambassador membership as of 10 members registered (instead of 250€)

  • Gradual discount aligned with the ESTRO institutional membership model:  5 members   → -5%

    •   6 to 15 members   → -10%

    •   16 to 30 members →-15%

    •   31 to 60 members → -20%

    •   > 60 members         → -25%

• • Each center fills the form and sends it to SASRO- It is possible to add members in the form during the year, but the invoicing is done twice a year
