Radiotherapy technologists (RTTs) prepare and apply radiation therapy treatments. Through continuing education, we ensure that our RTTs have up-to-date skills and knowledge of the most modern and complex radiotherapy techniques. Our RTTs furthermore contribute to scientific research.
The RTT board members in the SASRO take part in the:
- Promotion of RTT’s participation in research projects.
- Dissemination of scientific results concerning new treatment techniques.
- Organisation of multidisciplinary workshops and further education.
- Elaboration of the scientific RTT program of the annual SASRO congress (with the local organizing committee and the scientific committee).
The RTT board members promote practical exchanges between the Swiss radio-oncology departments. (Contacts list and website information).
