The activities of this scientific association are concentrated on research, the communication of scientific results, and the elaboration of a program of teaching in radiation oncology, with the objective to promote excellence in this specialty throughout Switzerland.
The Association should contribute to facilitating and intensifying both scientific and practical exchanges between all Swiss centres of radiation oncology, other clinical disciplines, and the associated basic sciences.
The Association should also be instrumental in reinforcing scientific cooperation between radiation oncology centers, both in Switzerland and abroad.
